We have a tentative meeting with Cimarron Wednesday next week at well site to discuss our mutual use of the surface site and discuss how we are going to fit a rig on the same site in preparation us staking a surface hole location and permitting. Cimarron currently has on going completion operations on their new well.  Our intentions are to cooperate and share common expenses such as road, location, gas pipeline (which they working on now) and sales point as we go forward with the our project. kb

4-22-2020

Getting close to wrapping up all preliminary pre-spud activities. We will be looking at moving in and rigging up so that we can be poised to take advantage of the uptick in prices when everyone gets back to work.

5-3-2020

Met w/ Jukubok & Associate Survey crew, placed stake on Cimarron pad where needed for Lauson drilling rig to drill well. Spoke w/ Jason Burk (hooking up Cimarron wells), they have plans of running flowlines next week. Location stake, X- 3234548.250, Y- 521696.014, ELEVATION 3.00′.

It is my practice that before drilling I like to put together a Geological Prognosis, which helps let you know during drilling when to expect encountering objectives during drilling.

7-1-2020        Location contractor (Quality Mats) moving in equipment. Ring levy holding about 2 feet of water around existing pad. Ordered pumps, started pumping water. Land owner requested lease road repair because it is in bad shape. Will have to blade road and haul material where needed.  Note: dewatering & lease road repair not included in location bid.

7-2-2020

All:

Good News!

Today we got out to the location to start moving equipment in to prepare for the rig and found the ring levee full of water that needs to be pumped dry so we can expand the pad. They started pumping today and plan to bring in some larger pumps tomorrow to speed up the progress.

I attached pictures of the site pad and the ring levee.

We believe with the larger pumps we should be able to drain the Ring Levee in a few days.

Thank you for your participation.

7-19-2020    Met with Kenneth Hlavinka, looked at several places to land farm mud and solids. None have access for dumping solids; culverts will have to be put in for access.

7-20-2020    Set 80’-20” conductor pipe and 6’ cellar. Drilled mouse hole and rat hole. Lauson Rig #2 started MI.

7-21-2020    MI & RU Lauson Rig #2.

7-22-2020    Met with Kenneth Hlavinka and had him sign land-farming application. Traveled to location, found proposed land-farm areas under 6″-12″ of water after 6″ of rain. Contacted Kenneth Hlavinka about alternative locations with accesses, he could not think of any. Received communications from Jimmy Geryk (Cimarron) that the location is sinking from rig heavy loads moving in where flowlines were buried. Checked area, will add 3-5″ of rock and mat across line. Found area where mud pits and pipe racks sets are also sinking. Will have to level and mat also. Lauson Rig #2 RU. Raised derrick.

7-23-2020    Met with Quality Mat representative on location. Backhoe leveled and laid mats across flowlines. Matted 20′ area and built up with 3×5 bull rock area. Met w/ Lonnie (Elliott Oil & Gas), and confirmed decent access for land farming mud.  He contacted and met RRC representative on location. Received tentative approval from him to land farm after application is approved; approximately 3 acres will have to be cleared and burn pushed up. Contractor made dig test call (1-call), will be 48 hours before clearing can begin. Filled out permit application and faxed to RRC with maps. Lauson Rig #2 RU.

7-25-2020    Met with dozer operator on Elliott Houston CC location (area for land farming), started pushing out trees and brush. Cleared a little over 1-1/2 acres. Sent surveyor map to RRC, received email that map is good. Was not provided a time when inspection of area would take place. Lauson Rig No. 2 rigging up. Tide rising from Hurricane Hanna.

7-26-2020    Continued clearing brush and tree out for land farming, light rain with occasional hard rains. Attempted to check location, high tide caused by tropical storm Hanna has water too high to get to rig. Lauson Rig #2 monitoring high tide. Generator shut down. Water in crew house and directional trailer. Water over ring levy.

7-27-2020    Lauson Rig 32 pumping water off location. Drying out trailers.

7-28-2020    Continued to clear brush and trees out. Started back dragging area & pushing up berm to retain drilling mud. Lauson Rig #2 continued pumping water off location. Worked on board road, reinstalled mats that had washed away. Worked with pole truck raising houses onto pipe racks. Worked on crew houses and location.

7-29-2020    Continued back dragging area & pushing up berm to retain drilling mud. Met RRC representative on location and received “verbal” approval for land farming permit. Now need RRC office approval, hopefully will have by this evening or in AM. Quality Mat on location, retrieving board road mats that washed off road during tidal surge from Tropical storm Hanna & reboarding road. Lauson Rig #2 working on top drive, crew also helping with mats. Preparing to spud today.

9-21-2020    Due to storm surge, Quality Mats could not make it onto location to pick up mats. SD until after storm makes landfall and water levels go down.

9-24-2020    Not a pretty sight. See the following photos from location after TS Beta unleashed torrential rain and storm surge.

9-27-2020    Quality Mats hauled in 4 loads of mats and replaced mats that washed off road. Unable to get airboats to start retrieving other mats that had washed away until Monday.

9-28-2020    Quality Mats delivered 48 mats and rebuilt road to location. Mat crew recovered some more mats near road and location. Began pumping water off location. Explored routes for mat recovery with drone. Airboats are scheduled today to recover the remaining mats.

9-29-2020    Airboats recovered 48 mats. United rental delivered two 6″ pumps. Crew assembled pumps and began pumping water off location and picking up mats with forklift.

9-30-2020    Quality Mats recovered 51 mats from wetland area (total mats: 99). Hauled in 4 loads of limestone. Backhoe filled in bad spots on main lease road from FM 2004 to farmer’s barn (hunter’s camp).

10-1-2020    Quality Mats continued retrieving mats from wetland area, 24 mats recovered. One airboat is down, so recovery is slower. Currently picking up and stacking mats on location.

10-2-2020    Quality Mats continued retrieving mats with airboats, 27 mats recovered. Picking up mats off location, stacking and trucking out. Sent up drone, appears to be about 40 mats left to recover.

10-3-2020    Continued retrieving mats. Recovered 12 with airboats.

10-4-2020    Recovered 5 mats. All other mats are non-accessible. Shut down mat recovery with 20 mats not recovered. All mats are off location and road.

10-7-2020    Met with dirt contractor. Well pad needs to be leveled and dressed off. Main road from Kaler tank battery to well has several spots where material will need to be brought in. Will bring in track hoe in AM and start trying to pull in material that has been pushed out from truck traffic. If this does not work, additional material will be needed. Estimated cost to repair road and location is $17,000 (Depending on pulling material from sides of road.)

10-8-2020    MI track hoe, started pulling in sides of road that had been pushed out by heavy loads. High tide has about 8-10” of water over approximately 100 yards of road just before getting to location pad. Tide dropped about 4” at end of day.

10-9-2020    Continued pulling in material from road side. Moved to location and started cleaning off drilling mud & leveling.
